Ivica Mudrinić – new president of the National Competitiveness Council

– At its last session for 2009 the National Competitiveness Council confirmed the election of Ivica Mudrinić as the next president of the Council and of other new members – representatives from the Government of the Republic of Croatia, business, the academic community and the trade unions.

National Competitiveness Council a partner in EU FP7 Project

Athens, 3-4 December 2009.
– The National Competitiveness Council has been included, since the beginning of this year in a consortium of 23 international institutions from 16 countries as part of the Seventh Framework Program (FP7) of the European Union, in Advancing Knowledge-Intensive Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Economic Growth and Social Well-being in Europe (AEGIS) project. The goal of this comprehensive project is to analyze the links between knowledge based entrepreneurship, economic growth and the growth of social well-being on one hand and on the other hand, to give an overview at the micro level of the characteristics and specific qualities of entrepreneurship based on knowledge in each individual participating country, with a special emphasis on the social and cultural dimensions. The project will last for three years and has a total budget of 3.3 million euros. >> more
